Tajo Colorao/ The coloured ridge / Colorao Bergwand / Grande Muraille

Gran paredón calizo vertical, de tonos anaranjados, motivo por el cual recibe su nombre, que se prolonga desde “el Visillo” hasta las inmediaciones del cortijo de la Haza del Olivo. Supone un desnivel para con el cauce río de mas de 180 metros, en cuyo encuentro acumula gran cantidad de derrubios desprendidos del mismo.
El tajo presenta por sí solo un notable interés paisajístico, además de propiciar con su presencia un verdadero microclima bajo su “visera”, donde aparecen especies tanto faunísticas como florísticas asociadas a los ecosistemas ripários. Tarajes, cañaverales, juncos, etc...
  • This is a large, vertical limestone wall with tones of orange, which is why it is so named extending to the vicinity of the farmhouse “Haza del Olivo”. It follows the course of the river at a height of 180 metres and from it great quantities of rock have fallen. The ridge itself is of spectacular scenic interest as well as encouraging the presence of a true microclimate under its “peak” in which appears fauna and flora associated with riparian ecosystems – tamarisk, cane, reeds etc....
  • Riesige Bergwand aus vertikalem Kalkstein, in Rottönen von dem sein Name herrührt, breitet sich vom "Visillo“ bis zur Berghütte "Haza del Olivo“aus. Bis zum Flusstal beträgt der Höhenunterschied 180 Meter, wo sich eine Anhäufung von abgebrochenen Gesteinsteilen befindet. Die "Rote" Bergwand ist auf den ersten Blick schon von einem hohen landschaftlichen Wert, aber abgesehen davon hat sich unter seinem "Vorbau" ein richtiges eigenes Mikroklima entwickelt in dem man Tier- und Pflanzenarten benachbarter Regionen finden kann, wie z.B. Schilf, Binsen, usw.
